📖 My Review 📖

The Christmas Miracle is a short novel with only eight chapters, but it moves along quickly and is packed with several twists that keep readers guessing until the last few chapters.

I found the storyline for Diane held my attention the most. Emma held little interest for me. Although she is a very loving granddaughter, I didn’t feel engaged with her story. Mostly, I read Diane saying how strong Emma was, but that didn’t come through her actions. At least not for me.

That being said, I believe Wood’s writing of the characters and story is wonderful. The fact that I disliked the person Emma was makes it clear to me that Woods writes characters and story that make you feel. I empathized the most with Diane. The ending was unexpected, as most of the questions were tied up in the last two chapters.

I enjoyed reading The Christmas Miracle by Stephanie Wood. This is my first Christmas novel this year., and it was a nice read. I am definately interested in reading the others in the series.

I gave this novel four out of five stars. It didn’t take me long to finish this novel. I recommend it to readers that enjoy christmas themed novellas.
