As you may know I am participating in the Long and Short Wednesday Weekly Challenge. This week the topic is which is my favorite genre and why.
My favorite genre is Horror. I love Horror! Some of my favorite reads are down below. They are all types of horror that are written well. I have recently discovered that if I am reading a book and I stop and start talking out loud, it’s a sign I am enjoying the book. I discovered that while reading The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones and then again when listening to Within These Wicked Walls.
It doesn’t matter if it is an adult book or a middle grade book like Hide and Seeker. I loved it. I have enjoyed all the horror I’ve read this past year. I signed up for Book Riots Horror newsletter recommendations. I highly recommend it as the books are awesome.
Most of the books I read and listen to are supernatural horror. The idea that there are things that can not be explained is fun to me.
