πMy Reviewπ
Bunster, An Easter Story is a childrens book for toddlers up to three years. Christine Panzer both illustrates and wrote this cute short easter book.
What I think kids will enjoy about this book is the cute story. It is perfect for first readers. The illustrations are adorable. Bunster is a great book for young readers. A quick picture book with a story.
Toddlers and first readers will be entertained with this kids book. Parents can read this kids book within ten minutes, and I liked the introduction of new characters at the end.
I think the colors in the illustrations are cute and entertaining. I wish the story itself had a better flow and was more congruent.

Author Interview with Christine Hwang Panzer
LR: Favorite dessert?
A mango, red bean and condensed milk shaved ice that my dad makes sometimes.
LR: Do you have another profession besides writing?
I have been mainly working on my art since I graduated college over a decade ago.
It was my goal to make a childrenβs book in college, but I did not really know how to get there. Now I have so many projects I want to work on.
LR: Whatβs the funniest thing that ever happened to you? The scariest? The strangest?
Funniest?
Living with my husbandβhe is a weird man.
Scariest?
My husband is the second safest driver I know, but that still doesnβt stop me from crying in terror sometimes.
Strangest?
The strangest was when I came home from school one day to an empty house at my childhood home because my parents had just gotten the floors redone. I sat upstairs in my brotherβs empty room at the computer doing my homework. I heard some sound from outside the closed door. I went to open the door, and there were bumble bees everywhere. Apparently, a whole hive had invaded the house while I was sitting alone. My neighbor realized and shouted from outside, βWeβll get you out, Christine!β She had called the police and a policeman escorted me out of the house. He noticed my Scooby Doo keychain and asked if I watched the show.
LR: What is the last great book youβve read?
The graphic novel series Sanity and Tallulahβit made me feel smart in a fantastical, sciency kind of way.
LR: Name a quirky thing you like to do.
Scoop up my kitty and smother her with kisses so that she purrs.
Now I’d like to hear from you.
What do you think about todays book, Bunster, An Easter Story? Do you have any books you recommend for young readers at Easter? Let me know in the comments below.
And As Always…
